Reap the Tides precon upgrades

Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait · 100 cards including the commander · 44 lands · colors G, U

Landfall and repeated land drops. Start with a small package that protects the commander's engines. Review each cut and addition against the stock list, not only the draw or ramp totals.

What to preserve

Keep the extra-land and landfall draw engines together. Aesi's card draw depends on lands entering, so a low land count can weaken both mana and the deck's plan.

A useful first review

Compare a $25 package with the stock list, apply only the changes you would actually play, and save the edited deck as another version.

1. Load the list and check the commander and 100-card count.
2. Set your purchase budget and intended table. Add owned options and protect the engines you intend to keep.
3. Review the actual card text before accepting a change. Save the baseline and edited list as separate project versions.
4. Export the full deck, play it, and attach an observation and next-review date to the tested version.

What to record after playing

Record missed land drops, unused ramp, and whether the larger spells stayed stranded in hand.
